//Mixing Wagtale

So, still in the process of mixing Wagtale, my little macbook is starting to strain under the pressure of it all, but still up for the challenge. 

Sometime you wish you had a lovely sound designed mixing room with a nice pair of dynacoustic for the good stuff and NS10s for the bad stuff, a G5 that can take all that you throw at it in terms of process, with a nice array out outboard and plugins.  Howver, I have my little macbook and the humble logic stuff, but I kind of like that, trying to make something good out of the simplest of tools by todays standards and seeing what I can come up. 

Amygdala is getting there, but still difficult, getting the end to sound as epic as it should is proving hard.  Just looking to give it the sigur ros touch with a good use of reverb that Glasvegas employ, while with Adam I am still waiting to record the sax and sort out the intro, but aside from that I am feeling quite happy with it.  The main thing is is that the band like it, and I hope they do as they are such lovely chaps.
